Detailed Solution

The Constitution of India does not recognise any language as the national language.
Following independence, state borders began to change. Many new states were created, and many existing states were reshaped. Several states were made based on culture, ethnicity, and geography. Later, the demand for the development of linguistic states emerged. It was discovered at the time that the ConstitutionConstitution included no mention of the national language. The ConstitutionConstitution designated 22 languages, including Hindi, as Scheduled Languages to safeguard all languages. Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Bodo, Santhali, Maithili, and Dogri are among the languages spoken.
