Plastic waste and wet or organic waste should be separated and disposed of separately. Plastic is non-biodegradable and therefore should be safely disposed or recycled. On the other hand, organic waste materials and human excreta are biodegradable and hence can be decomposed in waste treatment plants with the help of bacteria. 

Also if plastics are discarded with sewage they may block the sewage pipes.

Therefore plastics should be discarded separately.
