Which of the following metals reacts vigorously with oxygen?

Sodium is a highly reactive metal and when it combines with oxygen lot of energy is released due to the exothermic nature of the reaction.

As sodium can easily donate its valence electron to non-metals like oxygen, the reaction happens fast and releases a lot of energy forming sodium oxide.

Other metals like Mg, Zn, and Cu are comparatively less reactive and do not cause violent chemical reactions with oxygen.
