The oxides of chromium which is amphoteric in nature is Cr2O3.

Cr2O3 is known as Chromium(III) oxide which is amphoteric in nature. 

Cr2O3 reacts with bases and acids that is why it is atmospheric in nature while CrO is basic in nature and CrO3  is acidic in nature.

The character of acid increases with increase in oxidation number.
