Detailed Solution

CPI has Ears of Corn and a Sickle as its symbol.
In 1925, CPI was established. The party believes in democracy, secularism, and Marxism-Leninism. CPI is hostile to communalism and secessionist forces. The party commits to the interests of the working class, farmers, and the underprivileged; CPI endorses parliamentary democracy. The party weakened following the split in 1964 that resulted in the creation of the CPI (M). Kerala, West Bengal, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu have a significant presence of CPI. Over time, its support base had progressively dwindled. In the 2004 General elections, the party claimed victory on ten seats and around 1.4% of the vote. The party promotes unifying all left-leaning organisations to form a powerful left front.
