Detailed Solution

The parties involved in the Tripartite struggle were Pala, Gurjara-Pratihara, and Rashtrakuta.
The Kannauj Triangle Wars are famously known as The Tripartite struggle in the nineteenth century among three empires. Not a lot is known about the kingdom of Kannauj. In ancient times, kings ruled over kingdoms and expanded the boundary to establish an empire. Hence, there were wars among these kingdoms to expand their ruling territory. One such was this war. Kannauj was a very prized city situated in the Ganga valley. Many rulers wanted this area, so the three rulers of The pala dynasty, the Gurjara-Pratihara dynasty, and the Rashtrakuta Dynasty fought to gain control of this region. Since these were the three parties, it is known as the TRIPARTITE struggle.
