Detailed Solution

The fabric is made from yarn by the processes of weaving, knitting and spinning.
Knitting is done to make a fabric or cloth using a single yarn. The fabrics are made by interlocking the loops of a single yarn using knitting needles or machines. Once the fabric is knitted then it is stitched to make various clothes. Socks, sweaters and other items are made by knitting the fabric. Weaving is the process of making fabric by arranging two sets of yarns at the right angles to one another. The two sets of yarn are woven to make fabric. Weaving is done on looms which are hand-operated or machine operated. Once the fabric is woven then it is stitched to make various clothes. Spinning is the technique of making yarn from fibres. A mass of cotton wool is dragged out and twisted. This brings the fibres together to form yarn.
