Detailed Solution

The oldest proof of rice domestication was found at Koldihwa (6,500 BC). Koldihwa is famous for the archaeological evidence of rice and fragmentary bones. It is located in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the few Neolithic sites in Uttar Pradesh. It is the earliest rice cultivation evidence found anywhere on the globe. The radiocarbon dates of the bone fragments from Koldihwa demonstrate that cattle, sheep, and goats domestication occurred in the area.
