Detailed Solution

The following rights were denied to the non-whites under apartheid: form associations, vote, live or work in white areas. Apartheid was a racial discrimination system prevalent in South Africa under colonial rule. The discrimination was solely based on the colour of the skin. A brutal, cruel and unjustified system, it gave neither basic human rights to the non-whites nor any economic or political rights. The discrimination manifested in ways that denied dignity to the non-whites. They could not form associations or live or work in white areas. It created segregation, prohibiting the intermingling of the two groups, as they were denied the right to vote.
