Detailed Solution

Yamuna river is not having any multi-purpose river project. All the rivers, including Narmada, Mahanadi, and Satluj-Beas, have multi-purpose projects like the Sardar Sarovar dam and the Bhakra Nangal Dam. Still, the Yamuna is the only river with no such multi-purpose projects. The reason for constructing dams on the rivers like Satluj is that these are the rivers that are very close to the borders, and one project helps more than two states with irrigation, Electricity production, stooping floods, fish breeding, etc. Whereas the Yamuna crosses some states and directly joins the Ganga river at Prayagraj, it also crosses major cities to provide irrigation facilities to many villages.
