Young Europe society was founded in Berne.
1)      In the 19th century, Giuseppe Mazzini was a young revolutionary in Italy. He played a significant role in changing the politics and mentality of Europe.
2)      He was against the monarchy and supported the vision of a democratic republic. He was sent to exile at 24 in 1831 for attempting a revolution in Liguria.
3)      The young revolutionary had founded two secret societies in different areas. One of them was Young Italy, which he founded in Marseilles. Another was Young Europe, which he launched in Berne. The members of these societies included people from France, Poland, Italy, and the German States who, similarly to Giuseppe, believed in the concept of nations.
