Detailed Solution

The source of energy that is best for heating food is natural gas.
Natural gas is a mixture of gaseous hydrocarbons containing mainly methane in addition to various smaller amounts of other gases like carbon dioxide, nitrogen, hydrogen sulphide, and helium.
Natural gas is non-renewable fossil fuel and  resource that is formed when deposits of organic matter (primarily marine microorganisms) are decomposed under anaerobic conditions and are exposed to intense heat and pressure underground over millions of years.
For example:
"Gas produced by the anaerobic decomposition of organic materials like agricultural crop waste, Sewage, animal waste, food waste, and plant waste is biogas". Methane makes biogas an excellent fuel for cooking. Biogas contains 75 per cent methane in it.
