When a substance undergoes physical changes, its composition remains the same.
Let us take an example of water; we all know that at normal temperature, water exists as a liquid, but if we decrease the temperature, water changes into solid ice, but that does not make any difference in water's composition. This is because the water molecule still contains H2O, i.e.  2 molecules of Hydrogen and 1 molecule of Oxygen.
