Reabsorption is the process where the renal tubules reabsorb a good volume of substances from the glomerular filtrate. DCT is the Distal Convoluted Tubule which does the role of reabsorption water, sodium and bicarbonate ions. It also secretes potassium and hydrogen ions to maintain the pH and balance of sodium-potassium in the blood.
