Detailed Solution

Chinese silk cargoes, pottery, and Indian spices were all exchanged over the Silk Route/Road.
Through the Silk Route, silk and spices from China entered Europe for ages. Chinese paper travelled the same route to Europe in the eleventh century. Numerous land-and-sea-based silk routes that connected broad swaths of Asia with Europe and northern Africa have been recognised by historians. They are known to have existed before the Christian era and were prosperous virtually up until that time. Chinese pottery and textiles, and spices from India and Southeast Asia also made the same journey. On the other hand, silver and gold moved in the opposite direction as they moved from Europe to Asia.
