Detailed Solution

Romania was not a part of the Russian Empire under Tsar Nicholas II.
Romania was not a part of the Russian Empire during the rule of Tsar Nicholas II. Under the reign of Tsar Nicholas II, the Russian Empire expanded enormously. The empire included the present-day countries of Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, parts of Poland, Ukraine, and Belarus. However, Romania was occupied by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) much later, in 1944. Romania, a European country located at the crossroads of Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe, was in a very unfavourable position during the First World War and the reign of Tsar Nicholas II in Russia. However, it was not a part of the Russian Empire during this period.
