Detailed Solution

Lala Lajpat Rai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, and Bipin Chandra Pal were the extremist leaders.
The congress was divided into two camps-Extremist and Moderates at the Surat session of 1907. Extremists and Moderates formed separate groups within the conference. The moderates supported legal forms of protest like petitions, prayers, meetings, etc. On the other hand, extremists thought that agitation, strikes, and boycotts would impose their demands. Some of the extremist leaders were Lala Lajpat Rai, Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bipin Chandra Pal, Aurobindo Ghosem Rajnarayan Bose, and Ashwini Kumar Dutt.
