Detailed Solution

The electric heater appliance does not use an electromagnet.
A coil of an insulated wire wound around a piece of iron is known as an electromagnet which acts like a magnet as long as current passes through the wire. An electromagnet is used to produce a magnetic effect. An electric heater does not require a magnetic effect as it works based on the heating effect of the electric current. The electric heater contains a coil of nichrome wire. Which is known as an element. When the heater connects to the electric supply, its elements become red hot and give out heat.
