Televisor was invented by John L Baird.
John Logie Baird was a Scottish inventor who demonstrated the world's first live television system on 26 January 1926. In addition, he invented the first publicly displayed colour television system and the first viable all-electronic colour television picture tube.
In 1928, the Baird Television Development Company achieved the first transatlantic television broadcast. Baird's early technical achievements and role in bringing television broadcasting to the forefront of home entertainment made him an important place in the history of television.
