1)      The SPA (seven-party alliance) that led the movement posed three demands in front of the king. The formation of a new constituent assembly was one of them. They wanted to get a new constitution framed for Nepal. Finally, in 2015, Nepal adopted a new constitution.
2)      The restoration of the parliament previously dissolved by the king’s order was also a significant demand.
3)      SPA also demanded that power be given to an all-party government in which every political party would have some representation.
