Which one is an inverted pyramid?

In most ecosystems, all the pyramids, of number and biomass are upright, meaning that producers are more in number and biomass than the herbivores, and herbivores are more in number and biomass than the carnivores. However, there are exceptions to this generalization such as in the pyramid of numbers in a parasitic food chain. This pyramid is inverted where large number of parasites feed on a single plant or animal. The pyramid of biomass in aquatic food chain is also generally inverted because the biomass of fish far exceeds that of phytoplanktons.

However, the pyramid of energy is always upright, and can never be inverted. This is because the transfer of energy follows the 10% law, which states that only 10% of the energy is transferred to each trophic level from the lower trophic level. Hence, the energy at lower trophic levels will always be greater than the energy at higher trophic levels.
