Detailed Solution

Barley is a rabi crop grown in the winter because it needs less rain and has more fibre.
India's primary Rabi crop is wheat, followed by barley. It has a lot of vitamins and minerals and is a whole grain. A Kharif crop grown in the winter is maize, while Zaid farmers grow cucumbers and watermelons throughout the summer. Wheat, gramme, mustard, and beans are some additional rabi crops. After the monsoon season, rabi crops are sown in mid-November and harvested in April and May. Most of these crops are cultivated with irrigation or percolated rainwater.
