The Coromandel coast is not the section of the western coast. It is a part of the Eastern Coastal plains it is divided into two parts the southern part is called the Coromandel coast and the northern part is called Northern Circar, they are fertile, broad, and have a level surface and they form deltas. The western coastal plains are narrow in size and are divided into 3 plains, the southern part is the Malabar Coast, the central part of the western coast is Kannad, and the northern part is called Konkan, they are infertile, do not form deltas.
