Detailed Solution

The Jamuna is the name of the Brahmaputra river in Bangladesh. The river Brahmaputra, originating near Lake Mansarovar in Tibet, covers the territories of the Tibetan region of China, Bangladesh, and India. Originating from the Angsi glaciers, it grains into the Bay of Bengal. From Tibet, where it is known as Tsangpo, Brahmaputra enters the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh and flows through the Assam valley before entering Bangladesh.
