Detailed Solution

Copper and Zinc are minerals that are mainly obtained through veins and lodes. In igneous and metamorphic rocks, the minerals occur in cracks, crevices, faults or joints. The smaller occurrences are called veins, and the larger occurrences are called lodes. Most of the time, these rocks are formed when the minerals are in a liquid or gaseous state and forced towards the earth's upper surface through cavities. In igneous rocks, the minerals are formed from the magma and in metamorphic rocks, the minerals are formed from the existing rock minerals due to temperature and heat.
