The Ghaghara tributaries join Ganga.
It originates near Mansarovar in the Tibetan plateau and is the largest tributary of the Ganges. It joins Ganga in Bihar. The Ganga basin is the largest river basin drained by Ganga and its tributaries. All these rivers have their origin in the Himalayas and are perennial. Glacial meltdown is the major source of these rivers. During the monsoons, Ganga tends to outflow its banks, resulting in floods. Ghaghara, Gandak, Kosi, Gomti, and Yamuna are the main tributaries of the Ganga.
