Which parts of the fort were added by later rulers?

Several rulers after Shah Jahan modified or added to the Red Fort:

Aurangzeb (1658–1707): Built the Moti Masjid, a small marble mosque inside the fort.

British period (19th century): After the Revolt of 1857, many Mughal structures were destroyed, and the British added barracks, offices, and military buildings, altering the original layout.

Later restorations: Post-Independence, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) restored several palaces, water channels, and gardens to preserve the original Mughal character.
