Detailed Solution

Asia regions were not involved in the triangular slave trade.
Slavery was abolished in the French colonies, one of the Jacobin regime's most radical social reforms. However, the lack of Europeans willing to travel to and work in foreign countries led to a labour shortage on the plantations. So a triangular slave trade between Europe, Africa, and the Americas was established to address the issue. In the seventeenth century, the slave trade started. From the ports of Bordeaux or Nantes, French traders travelled to the coast of Africa, where they procured slaves from regional chiefs. The slaves were branded and chained and crammed together onto ships for the three-month trip to the Caribbean. They were bought by plantation owners there.
