Black Sunday started a series of events that came to be known as the 1905 Revolution.
Russia at the time of Black Sunday was Autocratic. The Socialists worked with the peasants. During the 1905 revolution, the Socialists coordinated the revolution with the peasants. Father Gapon organised a protest procession, reaching the Winter Palace, where the Russian police attacked it. More than 100 workers were killed and 300 wounded. This incident was known as Bloody Sunday and started a series of events that became known as the Revolution of 1905. Black Sunday led to multiple strikes all over the countries led by workers and university students in the following time.
