Each Member of Parliament (MP) represents a single geographic constituency. There are now 543 constituencies, with a maximum of 550 representatives available. Five states in India have more than 30 Lok Sabha constituencies. These five states are Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra,  Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal. Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of Lok Sabha constituencies in India.  Following are the states with more than 30 Lok Sabha constituencies:
