Detailed Solution

The title of Sangram Shah was assumed by Aman Das, the Gond raja of Garha Katanga. The Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh regions of central India are home to the Gond tribe. The Gond clan was split into 84 chaurasia villages in the medieval period. Chaurasi was divided further into barhots, with 12 villages in each. As big states began to appear, the Gond community's makeup altered. As a result, a society that was initially egalitarian over time deteriorated into having unequal social classes. The Brahmanas gained prominence and started receiving land from the Gond kings. The Gond chiefs now desired to be acknowledged as Rajputs. Aman Das, the Gond ruler of Garha Katanga, adopted the title of Sangram Shah as a result.
