Tropical evergreen forests: They do not have any definite time to shed their leaves. Evergreen forests are found in western ghats, upper parts of Assam, and Tamil Nadu. Evergreen woods are essential for the survival of forest inhabitants and flora and for maintaining the world's greenery. The trees continue to be evergreen because there is no drought. They are mostly tall and fashioned of wood, the bulk of them.
