Detailed Solution

The first book printed by Johann Gutenberg was the Bible. Gutenberg printed around 188 copies of the first edition. The text was published in metal type in the new Gutenberg press, but the borders were elaborately created, painted, and illuminated by skilled painters. There were no duplicates. The web page for each reprint was unique. Even the copies appeared to differ in assessment ratings. It coloured the paper and highlighted all of the sacred words to emphasise their importance. The colour was applied by hand to each page of the text. Gutenberg printed the text in black, leaving blank areas for the colour to be added afterward.
