Which year the ‘Civil code’ was established?

The Civil Code was established in the year 1804 by Napoleon and it is also known as the Napoleonic Code. This Code was exported to the regions under French control. This Code instituted the principle of equality of all people before the law, the right to property was established and all privileges enjoyed by the people of high birth and class were abolished.
