Duke Metternich hosted the Congress at Vienna in 1815. After the defeat of Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo, which is currently located in the country of Belgium. From 1814–1815, the representative powers of Europe, which consisted of Prussia, Britain, Russia, and Austria, met under the host of Duke Metternich of Austria in 1815, later called the treaty of Vienna. From this treaty, It was decided to develop measures to restore the monarchies, which were once overthrown by Napoleon’s military coup, and to set up conservative regimes in 1815.
