Detailed Solution

Kesari is a Marathi newspaper published by Bal Gangadhar Tilak, who was a renowned freedom fighter of India. This newspaper was established on 4 January 1881. The paper was used as the voice of an Indian National Freedom Movement and continues to be published by Kesari Maratha Trust and Tilak's descendants. Kesari editors included several freedom fighters and reformers, including Agarkar (its first editor), Chiplunkar. Agarkar left Kesari in 1887 to start his newspaper Sudharak (The Reformer), which Tilak later continued to run. Tilak's close associate Narasimha Chintaman Kelkar served as its editor twice.
