Detailed Solution

Bal Gangadhar Tilak, also known as Keshav Gangadhar Tilak, was an Indian patriot, educator, and independence activist. At Lal Bal Pal, he made up one-third of the triumvirate. Tilak served as the Indian Independence Movement's first leader. Mahatma Gandhi referred to him as "The Maker of Modern India" and conferred upon him the title of "Lokmanya," which means "approved by the people." He was referred to as "The father of the Indian disturbance" by the British colonial rulers. Tilak was an influential radical in India's consciousness and one of Swaraj's early and biggest advocates. He is famous for saying, "Swarajya is my birthright and I shall have it!" in Marathi. He had close ties with numerous Indian National Congress leaders.
