Detailed Solution

Jayadeva wrote Gita Govinda. Gita Govinda is a work of poetry. It tells the story of Lord Krishna's relationship with his beloved Radha. Lord Krishna is depicted as a male cowherd, whereas Radha is defined as a female cowherd. The Gita Govinda is divided into twelve chapters. Each chapter is further broken into twenty-four eight-line couplet sections. It also expands on Radha's eight moods, called Ashta Nayika. This has influenced many tunes and traditional Indian dance choreographies. Jayadeva, an eleventh-century poet, wrote the poem. The text was written in Sanskrit. Jayadeva was a Hindu mendicant known for his literary brilliance in eastern India.
