Detailed Solution

Mahatma Gandhi believed that English education had enslaved us.
According to Mahatma Gandhi, English education gave Indians a false sense of inferiority. It reduced their pride in their own culture and caused them to view Western civilisation as superior. Mahatma Gandhi wished that Indians would regain their feeling of dignity and respect via education. He advised students to leave schools during the national movement to demonstrate to the British that Indians were no longer willing to be held as slaves. Mahatma Gandhi was adamant that instructional materials should be in Indian languages.
