Detailed Solution

Akbar built Humayun's tomb. During Akbar's rule, there were a number of significant architectural innovations. The tombs of Akbar's Central Asian ancestor, Timur, served as a source of inspiration for his architects. The Humayun's tomb was constructed according to the "eight paradises" or hasht bihisht tradition, with a central hall flanked by eight rooms in the middle of a sizable formal chahar bagh.
