Detailed Solution

Dr B R Ambedkar called the Right to Constitutional Remedies ‘the heart and soul’ of the Indian constitution.
Indian constitution allows certain rights to the citizens of our country. The fundamental rights are enforceable. It signifies that citizens of our country have the right to seek enforcement of these rights; it is described as the Right to Constitutional Remedies, which is the security guard of other fundamental rights as well itself a fundamental right. This right ensures the enforceability of the other fundamental rights. Citizens can approach the court if the public interest is violated by the government. Under Public Interest Litigation, the citizen gets safeguards from the Supreme Court. That is why Dr B R Ambedkar called it the ‘heart and soul’ of the Indian constitution.
