Who coined the term 'endoplasmic reticulum'?

Keith Porter first observed the endoplasmic reticulum using electron microscopy in 1953 and named it "endoplasmic reticulum". However, the concept of the endoplasmic reticulum was identified earlier in 1902 by Emilio Veratti, who observed the structure in muscle fibers and named it the "sarcoplasmic reticulum". This organelle was later identified as the same structure as the endoplasmic reticulum found in other cells.
