The prashasti of Pulakeshin II was known as Aihole prashasti. This was composed by Ravi Keerthi, the court poet of Pulakeshin II. Pulkeshin II was one of the most popular Chalukya rulers able to acquire large swaths of the Empire under Chalukya.
