The Rajarajeshvara Temple was constructed by King Raja Raja Chola. It is a Shiva sanctuary arranged in Taliparamba in the Kannur locale of Kerala. It addresses old Chola type engineering mixed with Traditional Kerala style. King Raja Raja Chola revamped the sanctuary in the tenth 100 years (1010 AD). Parshuram had initially made the sanctuary well before the beginning of Kali Yug. It is accepted that the Shiva Linga in the sanctuary is a few centuries old. Rumors from far and wide suggest that the head of Goddess Sati fell in Taliparamba following her self-immolation.
