Detailed Solution

Allauddin Khilji constructed the garrison town known as Siri for their soldiers.
Alauddin Khalji carried out many executive actions, such as, for his troops, he built a new garrison town called "Siri". A garrison town is a fortified community where troops were once lodged. He also set aside 50 per cent of the harvest from the Ganga Yamuna plains. Instead of receiving iqtas, the soldiers received salaries. The merchants in Delhi would sell the soldiers' supplies. In Delhi, the costs of the items were regulated. Merchants were required to sell their goods at set prices. Officers thoroughly examined prices and found if any merchants weren't selling their goods at the agreed-upon prices.
