Detailed Solution

Vasco da Gama discovered the sea route to India from Europe. In earlier times, people travelled from one part of the world to another through sea routes. Mostly, traders used to travel, and as a result, the exchange of different cultures took place. In India, people come from other parts of the world for many reasons. For example, some were attracted to India because of its wealth and prosperity. Vasco da Gama travelled from Europe and landed his ship in Kerala (one of the states of India). And later, many Europeans travelled via the same route and engaged in different trading activities with India.
