Detailed Solution

After the decline of the Mughal Empire, Bengal, Hyderabad and Awadh emerged as separate states.
After the death of Aurangzeb, the Mughal Empire witnessed a gradual decline due to the weak rulers in the later period. Taking this as an opportunity, many regional governors declared Independence from the empire and formed their separate states. In light of this, Bengal Hyderabad and Awadh emerged as separate independent States in the early 18th century. Murshid Quli Khan Hyderabad controlled Bengal under Nizam ul Mulk, and Burhan ul Mulk Sa'adat Khan took up Awadh. Before this, they were the Governors of these provinces. After they took over the provinces, they reformed the Jagadhari system and land revenue collection to reduce the influence of the Mughals.
