Bolsheviks established the secret police cathe called Cheka.
The Bolshevik Party, led by Lenin, established a new government that became known as the communist party, and this was one of the consequences of the Russian Revolution. After the revolution, the bolsheviks established the secret police, the Cheka, which helped Lenin consolidate his control in Russia. Farmland is distributed to farmers, while labour is distributed to factories—nationalisation of the banks and establishment of a national council to manage the economy. With the signing of the Brest-Litovsk Treaty, Russia ends World War One. The execution of Nicholas II, his wife, and their children marked the end of the Czars' reign. Lenin employed cruel techniques for both political prisoners and criminals.
