Bhagat Singh was a great freedom fighter who gave the slogan “Inquilab Zindabad ''. He also said '' Freedom is the imprescriptible birthright of all. ” He was one of those nationalists who believed that the struggle against the British could not be won if they still followed the path of Non-violence. He also gave leadership to an organisation along with Jatin Das and Ajoy Ghosh, the Hindustan Socialist Republican Army (HSRA). It was founded at a meeting on Ferozeshah Kotla ground in Delhi in 1928. HSRA targeted some symbols of British power in various parts of India. They used various violent methods against them. He was caught in action by the British and executed at the age of 23.
