Who introduced hand-printing technology into Japan?

Chinese Buddhist missionaries introduced hand-printing techniques to Japan around 768-770 AD. The Buddhist Diamond Sutra, printed in 868 AD, was the oldest book in Japan. Libraries and bookstores were packed with various types of handwritten materials such as women's books, musical instruments, calculations, tea ceremonies, flower arrangements, etiquette, cooking, and famous places.
